Join us online for this Path to Ottawa event on January 14, 2026 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm EDT. 

Event Description: 

This session will focus on the role of developed countries in peace building, especially by promoting environmental sustainability. It will build on case studies and projects already supported by the Global Environment Facility in the Middle East (mainly Iran) from 2001-2021 and their importance in peace building through promoting environmental sustainability. The speakers will be from the local grassroots organizations who have been directly involved in these projects. 

The event will be in Farsi with English subtitles.
