What is the schedule for submitting proposals, planning, etc.?

We expect that call for proposals will open in the second half of June 2025, with the priority deadline for consideration being early October 2025. [After that, proposals will be considered on a rolling basis, as space permits.]

Submitters will be informed whether their proposals were accepted in late October.

Conference registration will open in October.  

To provide a space for the broader environmental peacebuilding community to engage in the process leading up to the Conference, we have created the Path to Ottawa, which will run from June 2025 through March 2026.  Please find more information here.

How do I submit proposals for the Conference?

The submission portal will open in late June 2025. 

I need a visa for Canada to be able to attend the Conference; how can I get a letter to support my application?

We can only issue visa letters to people who have completed the registration process (which opens in October 2025).  More information will be forthcoming as we get closer to October.
