FAQs
This page will be updated regularly, especially as we build up the Conference. Please check back regularly!
What is the schedule for submitting proposals, planning, etc.?
The call for proposals is now open, with the priority deadline for consideration being October 6, 2025. [After that, proposals will be considered on a rolling basis, as space permits.]
Submitters will be informed whether their proposals were accepted in late October.
Conference registration will open in October.
To provide a space for the broader environmental peacebuilding community to engage in the process leading up to the Conference, we have created the Path to Ottawa, which will run from June 2025 through March 2026. Please find more information here.
How do I submit proposals for the Conference?
The submission portal for presentations, posters, panels, and workshops is now open here. The submission portal for artistic contributions will open soon.
I need a visa for Canada to be able to attend the Conference; how can I get a letter to support my application?
We can only issue visa letters to people who have completed the registration process (which opens in October 2025). More information will be forthcoming as we get closer to October.
I really want to participate, but I am not certain I can attend in person. What are my options?
There will be a virtual day for the Conference (for presenters who are not able to attend in person). Many of the sessions will be recorded and made available on the EnPAx YouTube channel afterward. The Organizing Committee is exploring options for virtual participation during the in-person portion of the Conference.
