Community of Practice

The Environmental Peacebuilding Community of Practice is a global community of practitioners, academics, decision makers, students, and others interested in environment, conflict, and peace. Started in 2012, the Community of Practice shares knowledge of emerging trends, research, and other material related to natural resources, conflict, and peace. More than 4,200 people in more than 150 countries are currently members of the Community of Practice.

Every two weeks, members of the Community of Practice receive the Environmental Peacebuilding Update, which highlights recent developments in the field including new publications, upcoming events, calls for papers, job openings, blogs and commentary, selected international news, profiles of people working on environmental peacebuilding, and announcements.  The Community of Practice and the Environmental Peacebuilding Update are maintained by the Environmental Peacebuilding Association®.

Involvement in the Community of Practice is free to all. Those who are interested in engaging more substantively are encouraged to join the Environmental Peacebuilding Association®.
