Institutional Membership
As a general matter, institutional members may choose up to five (5) employees who will receive all the benefits of individual members. [Smaller institutions paying a discounted rate may designate up to three (3) employees who would receive benefits of individual membership.] Institutions can change the individuals who receive these benefits, if they so wish. In addition to these benefits, institutional members will also receive the following:
- Member’s institutional logo featured on the Association webpage
- Opportunity to propose programs and events
- Discounted rates for display space at Association’s global conference
The Association is currently developing additional benefits for institutional members and will bring them online as they become available.
Institutional Membership Rates
Institutional membership rates vary by the type of institution.

| Nonprofit and Academic | $450.00 | $1,215.00 |
| Small (for institutions that have an annual budget of less than US$100,000/year; with benefits for up to 3 employees) | $250.00 | $675.00 |
Proration
For administrative purposes, membership is by the calendar year. Membership rates are prorated to account for when institutions join.
To join as an institutional member, please complete these three quick steps:
- Apply: Institutional membership applicants are subject to vetting by the Membership Committee, in consultation with the President and Vice Presidents. To apply, please send an email to membership@environmentalpeacebuilding.org that includes the following information:
- Institution name
- Contact information (including a primary contact individual)
- The URL of your institution
- Description of your institution (this may be brief, say 1-2 paragraphs; or it may be longer)
- A brief description (1-2 paragraphs) explaining why you are interested in joining the Association
- The type of membership for which you wish to apply
- Pay: Once your application is approved, you will receive information on how to pay your membership dues
- Register: Once payment is confirmed, you will receive information on how your institution’s staff can register as individual members, send us your logo for inclusion, and otherwise complete the registration process as an institutional member
