Mindfulness for Trauma Management and Conflict Resolution (MTMCR) program (developed by Andrahennadi) was implemented at EcoPeace Middle East to test whether cultivating wholesome mind qualities such as mindfulness, compassion and equanimity could improve emotional well-being and strengthen the interpersonal relationships and ability to implement environmental action within EcoPeace staff and its stakeholders. This training will draw from the methodology of the MTMCR Program and will build capacity and knowledge on the unique nature-based mindfulness practices and the method of Bohmian Dialogue applied for trauma management and conflict resolution. This training session will provide an in-depth experience of the MTMCR structure, practices, methods, key outcomes at EcoPeace, and will highlight the potential application of MTMCR as a novel approach to future environmental peacebuilding.
