USA: Operations Associate

Under the direction of the Managing Director—and working closely with the Special Assistant to the Co-Founder and Operations Coordinator—the Operations Associate will support and coordinate the day-to-day business and administrative needs of the Enough Project, as well as process improvements, standard operating procedure development, and organization development initiatives. This position will also support the Managing Director in scheduling and prioritization.

Responsibilities:

 

  • Operations
    • Support and coordinate contracts administration and tracking.
    • Support and coordinate inventory tracking.
    • Troubleshoot business process challenges and coordinate solutions with Managing Director.
    • Support and coordinate info@enoughproject.
    • Support and coordinate internal communications, including setting up and prepping meetings and remote telecommunications.
    • Support the management of Internal email and calendaring.
    • Support intern programs. 
  • Travel logistics and field support
    • Support and coordinate security policy implementation and tracking.
    • Develop and distribute travel guidance; act as organizational resource for travel policies, procedures, and travel insurance.
    • Support telecommunications with field staff.
    • Support and coordinate travel processes.
  • Finance
    • Support and coordinate financial and business processes.
    • Carry out financial processing, including check requests, wire transfers, etc.
    • Support budget tracking and development.
  • Staffing and staff development
    • Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding.
    • Support and coordinate staff recognition and staff development efforts.
  • Liaison and coordination
    • Support policy and campaign coordination efforts, including project tracking and metrics and indicators reporting.
    • Act as liaison with American Progress facilities, including the finance team, legal team, tech team, SalesForce, and human resources.
  • Organization development, or OD
    • Support clerical aspects of OD special projects; support tracking and evaluation.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements and qualifications:

  • At least two years’ experience in nonprofit core-function roles; demonstrated commitment to serve mission objectives through core-function service and organization development.
  • Superb organizational skills, including the ability to manage numerous tasks simultaneously.
  • Initiative to add value through alignment and shared understanding.
  • Adept team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • A high level of personal energy, dependability, and commitment.
  • Ability to keep calm and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good humor and general problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to Enough’s missions and goals.
  • Experience working internationally and/or in Africa a plus.
