Seeking Submissions for Best Student Paper in Environmental Peacebuilding Award (Deadline: August 20, 2019)

Aug 12, 2019 | Environmental Peacebuilding Association

The Environmental Peacebuilding Association is excited to announce that we are seeking submissions for the Best Student Paper in Environmental Peacebuilding to be presented at the First International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding. This award acknowledges the best paper presented by a graduate or undergraduate student at the Environmental Peacebuilding Conference for this year (whether on a panel or in a poster session).

We encourage students and recent graduates to apply by submitting your paper. Please note that a paper is not required for the presentation or poster, but only papers submitted by the deadline will be considered for this award.

If you wish to have your paper considered for the award, please submit your paper to awards@environmentalpeacebuilding.org no later than August 20, 2019. There are no firm limits on the length of papers. That said, we would suggest a minimum of 5 pages or 2,000 words, so there is sufficient space for analysis.

Consideration will be given only to papers written while the author was enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student. Papers may have multiple authors, but only papers with only students as authors will be considered for the award. [Of course, presented papers may have students and others, but those papers will not be considered for the Best Student Paper award.]

Please direct any questions to awards@environmentalpeacebuilding.org.
