Call for Nominations for the Award for Environmental Peacebuilding in Practice

The Environmental Peacebuilding Association is currently seeking nominations for the Award for Environmental Peacebuilding in Practice to be presented at the First International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding in October 2019. This award recognizes exceptional practical work of an individual or organization involved in environmental peacebuilding. This may include, for example, the promotion of peace through cooperation around environmental challenges; the prevention, assessment, or remediation of environmental impacts from armed conflicts; and the management of natural resources to prevent or end conflicts.

The Awards Committee welcomes nominations until April 30, 2019. The nomination should include a description of the basis for the nomination, including evidence of impact, and may include supporting materials.
