Little about Yemen would suggest that it represents the next frontier for renewable energy. Since 2015, conflict and crises have left Yemenis no time to devise a comprehensive response to climate change and environmental degradation. Despite dire circumstances and in part because of them, solar power has taken Yemen by storm in recent years.
