EMMA ALBERICI, PRESENTER: East Timor's former first lady has slammed Australia's handling of its relationship with the struggling nation as both countries fight in The Hague over a $40 billion oil and gas treaty.
Kirsty Sword Gusmao, a prominent aid worker and wife of East Timor's Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao is currently visiting Australia.
The court case includes allegations that Australia spied on East Timor during treaty negotiations.
