RCS Global are looking to appoint an experienced audit program manager excited about working in this field who is ready to take the next step in their career and join our leadership team.
An ideal candidate will be technical proficient, hardworking, detail-orientated and motivated individual with team management and client facing experience who will quickly be able to complement and lead our established team’s work on the development and implementation of new and existing audit programs.RCS Global also undertakes considerable advisory work to industry programs where technical audit experience is beneficial to our clients. This will be a dual role, whereby the role will provide for a balance of audit program oversight and audit related advisory work.
This position requires some international travel (up to 10%). Applicants can be based anywhere in Europe or the United States within a reasonable travel distance from an international airport and with access to fibre optic internet. Applicants should have permission to work, in either Europe and/or North America. Due to the international nature of our work, all RCS Global staff are required to occasionally join conference calls outside office hours. Remuneration is competitive and depends on experience. You can join our team in London, or else have a home or shared office based position with communication with the global team through Slack, Skype, conference calls and occasional meetings.

PERSONAL SPECIFICATIONS:
We are looking for a personable and ambitious individual who is able to manage multiple projects, enjoys interaction with staff members and meet client deadlines. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience which should include:
- Some experience in responsible sourcing and supply chains auditing, not necessarily in raw materials – other examples might include agriculture, apparel, forestry, coffee, etc.
- An understanding of the organization and quality assurance for audit programs;
- Experience and technical expertise in the development of audit programs including tools and protocols and training;
- Professional qualifications related to auditing;
- Experience in client and audit program management;
- A willingness to expand an existing network with RCS Global’s help and in a further evolutionary step, understand and act upon business opportunities within the responsible sourcing space, with support of RCS Global’s leadership team.
PRIMARY ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee RCS Global’s audit work with RCS Global’s leadership team, including client liaison and oversight and management of the established audit team
- Implementing and overseeing RCS Global’s audit specific technical work, including developing and maintaining audit programs for responsible supply chains, and the design, development and maintenance of audit procedures, audit guidance and audit tools
- Managing existing audit and related advisory programs, including: SOW writing, auditor selection and contracting, audit planning and quality assurance
- Maintain RCS Global’s auditor accreditations, including the company’s quality assurance process, as required by auditing bodies;
- Manage audit sub-managers, employees and contractors, including the management of a staff database, and quality control outputs
- Direct staff to develop and deliver online and/or classroom training to auditors and auditees worldwide
- Assist in delivery and/or project management of advisory work on compliance with due diligence regulations, particularly where there is an audit component
- Conduct high profile audits where a senior auditor is needed and maintain professional competencies
- Represent RCS Global at conferences, industry events and stakeholder consultations
- Conduct typical day to day office duties required for your position, such as inter-office communication and time management
- Participate in RCS Global’s IP development through our internal research and tools development process
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Support new business development, as appropriate, including proposal development, networking and responding to client enquiries
- Gain subject matter expertise on RCS Global’s Responsible Sourcing work
- Contribute to our global outreach and network maintenance
