An exciting opportunity has arisen to work with Tearfund in our new programme in the Central African Republic

The WASH Project Manager is responsible for Tearfund's WASH programming in and around Bangui, responding to the ongoing crisis.

The successful candidate will be a qualified Engineer with significant relevant humanitarian experience in the implementation of WASH projects. Proven management and leadership skills, coupled with experience in project and financial management are essential. Responsibilities also include regular coordination within the UN Cluster and with other NGOs and Government departments, and in collaboration with the Deputy Response Manager, the writing of donor proposals and reports.

The candidate must be able to work in potentially insecure environments, to tight timeframes. Applicants must be committed to Tearfund’s Christian beliefs. All posts involve potential contact with children and the recruitment process will include specific checks related to child protection issues.
