Save the Children
Save the Children is currently recruiting for a Chief of Party (COP) who will be responsible for the delivery, performance and management of a five-year procurement focused on building resilience among targeted vulnerable populations within Nepal through improved health and nutrition, strengthened and diversified livelihoods as well as enhanced capacity at the community level to mitigate, adapt to and recover from shocks and stresses from impoverished communities and severe malnutrition.
The COP will also work very closely to oversee and document innovative strategies for nutrition focused development, account for environmental factors and ensure equality of access to services that will enable a 'learning by doing' approach. These lessons learned will feed into new and ongoing programs supported by the government, USAID and/or other development partners. The COP will also serve as the field liaison with district host government representatives, donors, partner agencies and local institutions and communities and will serve as the primary representative with USAID and the Food for Peace Office.
