Head of Economy & Peacebuilding - Peacebuilding Issues Programme

International Alert is recruiting a hands-on leader to join their Peacebuilding Issues Programme (PIP), which consists of a team of experts focusing on training, advocacy and research, and on specific issues such as environment and climate change, governance, the economic aspects of peace and gender, providing ideas and practical support on peacebuilding issues and methods.

You will manage a team within the PIP, and provide conceptual, strategic and practical leadership and support for Alert’s work influencing the economic policies and practices of governments, international organisations and businesses so they are conflict-sensitive and conducive to peace.
