Western Sahara: Polisario Front Hails Security Council's Commitment to Saharawi Right to Self-Determination

Washington — Polisario Front expressed satisfaction with the Security Council's commitment in favour of a political solution to the Western Sahara conflict based on Saharawis' inalienable right to self-determination," Ahmed Boukhari, Polisario Front representative at the UN.

The Sahrawi official made the statement in reaction to the United Nations Security Council's adoption of a resolution on Western Sahara, in which it reiterates its call to a "fair, sustainable and mutually acceptable political solution, providing Western Sahara people's self-determination."
