Iraq/ Syria: USD 2m a Day in Oil Smuggled Out of Iraq, Syria by ISIL

An estimated 30,000 barrels of crude oil is being smuggled daily out of Iraq and Syria by members of the ISIL and sold on the black market. The proceeds from the sales of the oil are providing almost $2 million a day in funding to the Islamist group.
