The Institute for Conflict, Transition, and Peace Research (www.abdn.ac.uk/ictpr) is a new research and teaching institute consolidating the University of Aberdeen's rich expertise in the study of transitions between conflict and peace.
These degrees work both as stand-alone programmes for students wishing to enhance their knowledge of these areas to an advanced level, as well as providing the necessary foundations for students wishing to pursue a PhD in the social sciences. For those wishing to be considered for the funding opportunities the deadline for receiving applications is 5pm UK time, May 23rd, 2014.
A number of scholarships will be available for the 2014/2015 academic year to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the foundation of Politics and International Relations (PIR) and Sociology in the School of Social Science at the University of Aberdeen. Once you have submitted your application for any courses below, all successful applicants to the MSc programmes will be considered for the available funding (i.e. there is no requirement to apply seperately for funding). If you have been successful in obtaining the funding, you will be contacted directly before 4pm Uk time on June 30th, 2014 and given details of the amount of funding you have been awarded.
