Environmental Peacebuilding Association Launches Interest Group on Monitoring and Evaluation

The Environmental Peacebuilding Association is excited to announce the launch of the Monitoring and Evaluation Interest Group! Effective and inclusive monitoring and evaluation systems are essential for assessing the effectiveness, impact, and sustainability of any programming, and are particularly critical in conflict-affected areas.

The purpose of this Interest Group is to share lessons learned and challenges related to the monitoring and evaluation of environmental peacebuilding. As a group, we hope to develop a community of practice aimed at discussing and disseminating good practices and current events related to the M&E of environmental peacebuilding. If you are interested in the interest group, please contact association@environmentalpeacebuilding.org.

Our first webinar will be held on Wednesday, November 14, 2018, and will provide an introduction to the interest group, a brief discussion on the current state of the field, and future directions for the group. There will be time for questions and discussion. All are welcome to join the webinar, and the archived recording will be available for Environmental Peacebuilding Association members.
