The contemporary human civilizations is surrounded by several problems and issues of varied nature. The prosperity and sustainability of the earth is being constantly undermined by the grave climatic and environmental changes posing a catastrophic threat and challenge to the very existence of human habitat. The heterogeneous approaches and methods adopted at local, national, regional and international levels despite regional variations is the need of the hour to avoid environmental holocaust .the climate change have begun to threaten communities in many parts of the world. These impacts will worsen in the future, contributing to growing human migration, droughts, floods, reduced agriculture resources as vulnerable people seek safer, more stable living conditions. This expected factors the hundreds of millions of people can negatively affect human wellbeing and political stability. This article concludes with a plea for peace and conflict researcher to call into question the concept of environmental conflict, as it represents an inappropriate research strategy in our quest to understand human-nature interactions
