In addition to environmental security and climate change, this lecture will also focus on refugees and climate change. Countries such as Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan will be discussed further as they will continue to suffer the multiple and concurrent stressors of climate change including extreme weather, sea level rise, and monsoon flooding could yield many millions of environmental refugees. Many other places in the world, Africa for one, will dry to the point they will no longer be able to support burgeoning populations in many countries.
