Please join Conservation International’s Policy Center for Environment and Peace for a half-day panel event, the third in a series focused on tools that foster environmental peacebuilding. With the use of technology in the field of peacebuilding on the rise, this panel focuses on how innovators are employing technology to mitigate environmental and natural resource conflicts and support peacebuilding outcomes.
Participating organizations include FrontlineSMS, a platform that harnesses the power of mobile technology for social change; Digital Democracy, which empowers marginalized communities to use technology to defend their rights; OpenAQ, a community of scientists, software developers, journalists and citizens working to build the first open air quality data hub for the world; and Modria, an online dispute resolution system that automates the conflict resolution process.
Please RSVP to Danny Pavitt at dpavitt@conservation.org. A catered breakfast will be provided. Event will run from 9:30am-12:00am.
