The Conservation Area Manager works permanently at EPL office and acts as a project focal point to address land use delineation, law enforcement, and conservation centred eco-tourism related technical matters of the EPL conservation areas (Protected Areas, Protected Forest). He/she is the key person to develop strategy and planning as well as produce technical reports/positioning papers for related activities and is accountable for designing technical programme initiatives under the theme of protected areas management as appropriate, and for the quality control of related project/s efforts.

WWF-Cambodia is looking for qualified candidates for the following roles: 1. Conservation Area Manager based in Mondulkiri province ( 1 person)

What you need: Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies • Master’s degree in conservation, natural resource management, bioregional planning, environmental, or in relevant fields • Advanced certificate in Nature Conservation and a relevant degree in law enforcement. • At least 5 years as project manager in the sector of the conservation and or Natural Resource Management • 3 years of practical experience in advising and or training in conservation and biodiversity protection law enforcement • 3 years of practical experience in advising on and or developing ecotourism initiatives; and • Experience of working with Government officials and line staff in an advisory and or training role • Report writing in Khmer and English • Fluency in written and spoken English and local language is an advantage • Proficiency in MS Office 2. Policy Officer based in Phnom Penh (1 person) The Policy Officer is responsible for supporting specific policy strategic plan implementation – with focus at the landscape level – minimize the challenge and impact on WWF’s landscape to move toward the success on the biodiversity conservation goals. The Policy Officer will play a coordinating role with regards to communication with the national level government and will also play the secretary role in any national and landscape level.

What you need:

Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Natural Resource Management, Rural Development, Development Study or in relevant fields • 3 years of practical experience working on advocacy • A substantial part of this experience should have been in organisation specializing in conservation or nature resource management • Proven experience of working and negotiating with Government officials at all level • Experience of organizing campaign,  forum and  workshop • Planning, organisation, time management, facilitation, and coordination • Fluency in written and spoken English and Khmer  language • Proficiency in MS Office 3. Administrative Assistant based in Phnom Penh ( 1 person) The Administrative Assistant provides a full administrative support service to the WWF-Cambodia, Phnom Penh Office. What you need: Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies • University degree in Business Administration and Management • At least two years experience in administration • Good organisation and interpersonal skills, with ability to function in a multi-cultural environment, working under pressure of deadline, • Thorough understanding of administrative issues • Organisation and time management • Fluency in written and spoken English and native language; • Proficiency in MS Office and other database applications.   Adhere to WWF’s values: Knowledgeable, Optimistic, Determined and Engaging.
