Rwanda: Project Manager

The Project Manager’s key responsibilities include day to day coordination & management of a marshland development project, field office coordination, project team coordination, to ensure full project implementation as per the approved project documents & studies, to ensure timely & regular project progress reporting for the donor and project stakeholders, and any other program related duties assigned to her/him.

Position: Project Manager

Duty station: Huye town with frequent field visits in the Southern Province. Strong presence in field is required (at least 70% of the time).

Deadline: 20th May 2015.

Contract duration: 20 months with possibility to extend depending on funding opportunities

Starting date: 1st June 2015

Qualifications / Preconditions: B.Sc. with at least 7 years of professional experience or Master’s degree in environement sciences, Agriculture, irrigation and similar domains; with long / strong experience in coordination & management of complex projects or Programs; experience working in international organizations.

Salary: to be discussed & depending on experience
