The Moving Energy Initiative is excited to launch a call for proposals to support investment in a small number of pilot projects that aim to reduce fossil fuel consumption and improve energy access in displacement settings in Kenya, Burkina Faso and Jordan. In each location, between 1 and 3 projects will be selected which can deliver tangible outcomes in improving energy access and reducing carbon emissions. If you think your organization can make a difference then we want to hear from you! Important details:
- Project must be based in either Kakuma or Kalobeyei refugee camps (Kenya), Goudoubo refugee camp (Burkina Faso) or the Irbid region of Jordan.
- Funding can range from £50,000 - £200,000 per location
- Deadline for proposals is the 25th February
