Please consider presenting a paper at the 2017 Warfare, Environment, Social Inequality, and Peace Studies (WESIPS) Biennial Conference to be held at the Center for Cross-Cultural Study in Seville, Spain on May 25-27, 2017.  

Papers addressing one or more of the following topics are welcome at this interdisciplinary symposium: prehistoric/modern warfare, ritual violence, biodiversity, human-environmental interaction, natural resource utilization, past and present cases of environmental degradation/sustainability, egalitarianism, advent of social complexity, social inequality, conflict resolution, and prosocial behavior.

Abstract submission deadline: October 1, 2016 at 11:59 PM (EST).

ALL submitted abstracts will be sent out for anonymous review. Therefore, an invitation to submit an abstract should not be considered as a guarantee of acceptance.

Please note that all participants are expected to organize and to pay for their own travel, food, and lodging arrangements.
