International Alert is requesting ‘Expressions of Interest’ from qualified and experienced specialists for a research assignment that begins in August 2016. As part of its strategic programme development in the Middle East region, and in response to the significant consequences and impact of the war in Syria, Alert would like to hire a consultant(s) to deliver analysis and recommendations to help develop a programme of work around livelihood support for Syrians in Syria, Turkey, Jordan and Iraq. It is looking for high quality analysis to inform the design of peacebuilding projects and act as a basis for donor engagement and fundraising.

Due to the wide geographic scope of work, we may engage multiple consultants with specialisms in particular countries. Consortiums and consultancies are eligible to apply.
