ITW is seeking a Sustainability Sourcing Data Analyst in the Conflict Minerals area to join its Strategic Sourcing team located in Glenview, Illinois, USA.  As part of the team you will learn step by step the basic skills to support and execute our conflict minerals program in order to help ensure ITW is compliant with its’ legal requirements pursuant to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) mandate.  ITW is the place to be for dynamic professionals including recent graduates from all disciplines. Key Responsibilities

As a Sustainability Sourcing Data Analyst, typical duties associated with this position might include the following:

  • Support the execution and documentation of ITW´s conflict minerals data collection and reporting process.
  • Conduct follow ups with internal businesses and suppliers to the extent that a response was not received, is incomplete, believed to be inaccurate otherwise triggered specified red flags.
  • Help compare smelters and refiners identified by suppliers against the list of facilities that have been identified as conflict free under the Conflict Free Smelter Program.
  • Provide training and feedback on Conflict Minerals related questions to ITW´s businesses, suppliers and customers.
  • Provide training and support on the SEC rule on conflict minerals to ITW businesses, suppliers and customers.
  • Maintain ITW´s conflict minerals webpage which can be accessed by all ITW businesses for reference
  • Assist and engage with ITW´s third party software vendor for the conflict minerals application, external auditors and other stakeholders.

Experience, Skills and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor´s Degree
  • High proficiency with Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Excellent excel skills: (Lookups, Pivot tables/Charts, PowerPivot, Advanced Formulas) required.
  • Strong customer service orientation including issue resolution, relationship management, and demonstrations/trainings
  • Excellent project management skills including project planning, time management, and multitasking
  • Strong problem solving, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Willingness to develop an extensive knowledge of third party software applications
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, demonstrations, and trainings (10% of time)
  • Fluent in additional languages preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral
