WWF-Cambodia is looking for a highly committed, energetic and qualified Conservation Programme Manager to join the world’s largest and most respected international conservation organization. He/she will 1) lead one of the most innovative and transformational conservation programmes in Southeast Asia - the reintroduction of tigers in Cambodia’s Eastern Plains Landscape (EPL); 2) lead conservation efforts to save Asia’s largest freshwater dolphin, the Mekong River Dolphin; and 3) lead the Zero Poaching initiative by WWF and key government departments of Cambodia. He/she will lead a highly committed team of conservation experts based in Phnom Penh, Mondulkiri, Kratie and Stung Treng Provinces. He/she will lead in the development, execution and monitoring of workplans and budgets across the 2 landscapes in coordination with key internal and external stakeholders. He/She will also represent WWF Cambodia in national, regional and international meetings or fora. If you are committed to the vision and mission of WWF, we would like to hear from you.

The position is based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
What you need:
Required Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Master’s degree in natural resources management, environmental or conservation management, development studies, or in relevant fields;
- 7 years of practical experience in leading and managing integrated programme, 3 years of which should be in the Asia Pacific Region;
- Proven experience of managing programmes funded by a diversity of sources including
governments and aid agencies, private sector donors with annual budget of 2-3 millions USD - Experience of working and negotiating with donors at all levels, and working with key regional and international institutions e.g. ADB, EU, UNDP, ASEAN, and the Mekong River Commission
- A thorough understanding of socio-economic, conservation and development issues in Cambodia is desirable but not required;
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a must, and knowledge of Khmer language is desirable
- Proficiency in MS Office

Salary Range: USD 45,573 to USD 68,359 per year plus other competitive benefits and allowances.
