The Global Witness team draws on a wide range of skills, from undercover investigations and painstaking financial research, to information gathering on the ground and close cooperation with partners and activists all over the world.
About the role
This is a senior and key role as you’ll be working alongside the Campaign Director to drive the campaign results across our highly motivated campaign teams. You will maintain oversight of the team’s campaigns ensuring that they are delivered on time and within budget as well as ensuring that meaningful change and impact is achieved and communicated.
You will also support the Campaign Director and Campaign Leaders to shape the future direction of the organisation’s environmental focused work as well as ensuring campaigners have the necessary resources needed to realistically deliver campaign results.
We will also be looking to you to oversee our formal civil society partnerships and lead learning reviews across all campaigns to improve our knowledge and effectiveness for future campaigns.
About you
You will bring pragmatic and hands on programme management experience to the role alongside a proven track record in planning, structuring, managing and delivering advocacy campaigns.
You will need exceptional relationship management and negotiation skills as you will be working with a diverse and geographically dispersed range of stakeholders with differing needs and priorities.
Finally, we are interested if you have great knowledge of governance and transparency issues particularly in relation to natural resources.
