Afghanistan: Afghan Activists Urge UN to Halt Hazara Displacement and Land Seizures

Over 100 Afghan civil society groups and human rights activists have called on the United Nations to intervene urgently to stop the systematic displacement and land seizures targeting the Hazara community by the Taliban and nomadic Kuchi groups. In an open letter to the UN Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA), the activists expressed deep concern over violent repression and harassment, citing the recent forced eviction of 25 Hazara families from Rashak village in Bamiyan province.
