Myanmar: Forest Dept Replants Trees in Shan State

More than 100,000 trees will be planted in northern Shan State by mid-June to mark World Environment Day, forestry officials said. Kyaukme district forest department’s deputy director U Hla Oo said 93,400 trees would be planted in six townships to prevent deforestation.
