Other than human lives, there’s another victim of the 2017 Marawi siege—the environment. Thus, the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), while leading the Land Resource Management Sub-Committee of Task Force Bangon Marawi, spearheaded the “Environmental Peacebuilding” program to bring back the beauty of the environment in Marawi City.
