Myanmar: Over 1000 Mandalay Farmers Protest Land Seizure, Suits

More than 1000 farmers in the Mandalay Region staged a protest against what they described as unfair lawsuits filed against them pertaining to seized land. During yesterday’s protest, they demanded that the regional and union government authorities deal with the matter and return their farmland.
