South Sudan: New Players for Juba Solar PV-Plus-Storage Project

Two new companies, precisely the United Arab Emirates-based Asunim Solar and the renewable energy solutions consultancy company I-kWh company, have joined forces towards the implementation of the Juba solar PV-plus-storage project in South Sudan. The consortium will work alongside Elsewedy Electric T&D (EETD), an Egyptian company that was awarded the solar project in December last year following a call for tenders launched by the South Sudanese Ministry of Electricity, Dams, Irrigation and Water Resources.
