Liberia: Clashes Between Liberian, Burkinabe Communities Kill 3 People

Reports from Grand Gedeh County in northeastern Liberia say three people have died in a clash between residents and Burkinabe occupying land in the area.The state-run Liberia Broadcasting System (LBS) which made the disclosure Saturday did not specify the nationality of those who lost their lives. According to LBS, the Burkinabe who have occupied about 500 acres of land in the thickly forested area, say they bought the land from an Ivorian national who is claiming the land.
