“Life below water: for people and planet” was the theme of World Wildlife Day 2019, which was celebrated on Sunday to raise awareness about the world’s wild animals and plants. Marine resources play an important role in the development of Myanmar, with its long coastline and large marine territory, but there is very little awareness about conserving the country’s marine resources.
