A coalition dedicated to protecting the water resources of Colombia formally launched operations in the country on Wednesday. The organization, the Water Coalition of Colombia, is a diverse group made up of traditional environmental organizations and powerful industry and financial groups. Its plans are some of the most ambitious and far-reaching yet seen in Colombia in mitigating the effects of climate change.
