Mawlavi Ataullah Omari, the acting Minister of Agriculture, convened a meeting with members of the Afghanistan Industrialists Union. The union has announced plans to invest millions of dollars in the creation of pistachio orchards and forests in the western and northwestern provinces of Afghanistan. According to a statement from the Ministry of Agriculture, this initiative aims not only to revive pistachio production but also to enhance the country’s agricultural landscape.
