Second International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding and the Omicron Variant

Preparations for the Second International Conference on Environmental Peacebuilding continue apace, with the start of the Conference two months away.

The agenda is filling up and firming up.  Registration is open for both in-person and virtual participants.  Directions for posters and virtual sessions will be shared momentarily with the relevant speakers and session organizers.

With the recent announcement of the Omicron variant and increased travel restrictions in a number of countries, the Conference Organizing Committee is carefully monitoring the situation and will follow the science. There is the possibility that the conference will need to be held virtually.  Accordingly, if you are making travel or hotel arrangements, please be sure to make refundable arrangements.

The Organizing Committee hopes to have a better understanding of the science, the risks, and the situation in the coming couple weeks and will keep the Environmental Peacebuilding Community of Practice apprised of developments.
