The Environmental Peacebuilding Association recently launched a Membership Directory to connect members through shared interests. These profiles can be used to network, search for mentoring opportunities, and to start building Interest Groups which can host discussion, workshops, and events with specific thematic focuses.

If you are notyeta member, please consider joining the Environmental Peacebuilding Association as a founding member to help grow this exciting field!
Since launching just a few weeks ago, the Environmental Peacebuilding Association has grown to include 69 members from 26 different countries with specialties ranging from energy and environmental security, to building resilience and peace in a climatically changing world, to empowering women, indigenous people, and other marginalized populations.
We are in a critical moment for the Association. Through June 5 (World Environment Day), we are focusing on building the membership. With the expanded membership, we will then pivot to focus on developing the Interest Groups, webinars, global conference, and other benefits of membership. We are aiming for 200 members by World Environment Day. Please join, encourage your friends and colleagues to join us, and help get the word out!
The Association:
- fosters knowledge development and exchange;
- builds capacity and awareness; and
- strengthens relationships between scholars, practitioners, and decisionmakers.
Note: If you are subscribed to the Environmental Peacebuilding Update and a member of the Community of Practice, you’ll continue to receive the Update. If you are seeking further opportunities for professional development, networking, sharing resources, and participating in events, you may be interested in joining the Association.
