Liberia: Senate to Hear Proposed Land Rights Act

The Liberia Legislature is expected to hold a public hearing on the 2014 proposed Land Rights Act on Monday, August 10, 2015. According to press release form the Liberian Senate, the hearing will be hosted by the Senate Committee on Lands, Mines, Energy, Natural Resources and Environment, the Committee on Judiciary, Claims, Human Rights and Petitions as well as the Committee on Lands Mines, Natural Resources and Environment and Judiciary of the House of Representatives in the Senate Chamber.
