For a week, the Alliance of Women Weavers of Life of Putumayo held an exchange of experiences with the Autonomous University of Guerrero – UAGro in Mexico. A meeting that made it possible to set concrete actions to promote peace, social justice, education and sustainable development, all with a gender approach that emphasizes the empowerment of women and communities in Putumayo, Colombia.

The meeting was supported from the beginning by Martha Patricia Ruiz Anchondo, Ambassador of Mexico in Colombia, who, in alliance with the directors of the UAGro headed by Dr. Javier Saldaña Almazán, Rector; carried out major commitments aimed at gender equality, the strengthening of local communities and the defense of human rights in Putumayo.
