Afghanistan: 6 Mining Contracts Inked with Local Companies, 2 in Pipeline

The Ministry of Mines and Petroleum has signed six contracts of sand and gravel excavation with local companies, an official said on Wednesday. Acting Mines and Petroleum Minister Enayatullah Momand told reporters here the natural reservoirs of sand and gravel the contracts of which had been inked situated in Maidan Wardak, Parwan and Bamyan provinces.
