Afghanistan: Protecting Livestock Herders and Markets in Times of COVID-19

FAO has been working to support vulnerable farmers in Afghanistan and prevent the spread of COVID-19 in agricultural markets across the country. FAO became increasingly concerned about the pandemic in early 2020 – especially on how it would affect the livelihoods of vulnerable groups in Afghanistan that depend on agriculture and livestock for a living.
