Several communications and confidential documents in possession of FrontPageAfrica, is outlining what many industry observers and insiders at the National Oil Company of Liberia already knew, but were unwilling to speak about publicly: That the once promising oil company was on the verge of collapse amid reports of bankruptcy and numerous financial frailties and management ineptitude. All came crashing down last Monday, June 8, 2015 when the Senate and House Joint Committee called in the senior manager of the National Oil Company of Liberia (NOCAL), Dr. Randolph McClain for questioning. Mr. McClain brought along an entourage of six persons in a desperate attempt to help him provide answers for the Liberian people but unfortunately for the Joint Committee, Liberia, its oil program and as we are now finding out, NOCAL, McClain seemed lost at sea.
