Guinea/Liberia: Guinea 'Beats War Drum' over Solumba Border Dispute

The Speaker of Guinea's National Transitional Council (NTC), Dansa Kourouma, has said Guinea will "protect" the disputed Solumba border area, a territory Liberia maintains falls within its own borders. The statement was reportedly made during a debate at the ECOWAS Parliament, according to Senator Edwin Snowe, head of the Liberian delegation.
