Monrovia - Cllr. Michael Allison, the former consultant to the National Oil Company of Liberia who reportedly blew the whistle that had led to an ongoing investigation by the Liberia Anti-Corruption Commission (LACC) involving the Speaker of the House of Representative and a Lawmaker has been found dead.

Cllr. Allison’s body was found early Friday morning on a beach behind the Royal Air Maroc Monrovia office in his underwear with foam pouring from his mouth. The motives of the suspecting killing remain unclear, but Allison, Managing Director of the BRICS Mano River Union Legal Consultants, has in the past few days been complaining to friends and close aides that his life was in danger.

The late Cllr. Allison is the son of former Liberia's Defense Minister Gray D. Allison. According to accounts from a woman whose identity is sealed and claiming to be a girlfriend, she came out with the decease on the beach around late evening hours and after a while he (Cllr. Allison) decided to swim in the ocean.
