Myanmar: Concerns over Seized Lands Hamper Agro Plan

Concerns have been raised on the implementation of the Agricultural Development Strategy and Investment Plan (Third Draft). The adviser to the Magwe Region Farmers’ Union, U Aung Kyaw Kyaw, said that the matter of seized farmlands must be resolved first before proceeding any further. His comments came after a preliminary meeting on the Agricultural Development Strategy and Investment Plan (Third Draft) was held on May 21 in Magwe.
