Egypt/Ethiopia/Sudan: Sudan Calls on UN Security Council to Intervene in GERD dispute

Sudan has asked the United Nations (UN) Security Council to hold an urgent session to discuss the dispute over the controversial Ethiopian dam, according to the state-run Sudan News Agency (SUNA). Sudan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Maryam Al-Sadiq Al-Mahdi called on the UN Security Council to urge Ethiopia to stop filling the dam unilaterally.
