Liberia: President Weah Urges Muslims to Avoid Violence in Resolving Land Disputes

President George. Weah has urged Muslims to avoid violence in their bid to resolve land disputes because a violent approach to land disputes has the potential to derail and undermine the peace. Since after Liberia's 14 years of civil unrest, land disputes remain alarming and have resulted in the death of citizens and many cases in court. Currently, Nimba, Montserrado, and Margibi continue to top in terms of land disputes in Liberia.
